Good to know! Made an appointment Friday. Drove it at speeds above 70 this morning. Spool up time is great in 5th. On a tune that would stead stream black at wot, it's crystal clear. On small hills with the cruise set at 78 it runs about 11-13. Flat seems to be around 7 if I remember right.

It probably needs some MAF sensor work done to the tune. I'm sure Kory already took care of it in your new tunes though.

X2. Without it spool up time will suffer and maybe a little performance.

Do you have a adjustable regulator for the wastegate? Max effort tune you should be seeing 50ish total boost

I have not tried the max effort tune yet. Just been running my 160 tune. No adjustable reg. Just took out my ppe valve.

you may not get max fuel for the tune till you get the new tunes flashed in so id wait on mashing around on that. your more than likely going to need a regulator to get max boost and make it run its best

plumb it into the wastegate line of the stock turbo with the flow direction pointed towards the wastegate. screw it clockwise for the wastegate to see less boost (increase overall boost on your boost gauge) or counter clockwise for the wastegate to see more boost all they way to actual boost. when you get it close, it wont take but a 1/4 turn to make a big difference in boost numbers.

yup, its changing how much drive pressure you are diverting to the 475, this is why a drive pressure gauge is well suited so you can get it dialed in just right

the second gauge wont do you much good. watch EGTs and set the boost around 50psi at WOT in the big tune, then mess with it up and down and see what way egts run the coolest and keep it there.

becareful though, running a max effort tune with a healthy fuel system and not keeping it in the upper rpms can lead to bent rods in a hurry. Kory may or may not have de-torqued the tune some to help there, problem is it will feel a little laggier than without it. its a give and take deal

I tried to be pretty clear with him that I wanted stock interal friendly tunes. Hopefully that's what I got. I guess I will just have to wait and see how it goes when I get the new file loaded up.
