Looking forward to seeing this one come together. I am thinking about doing my own 475 over stock LBZ it would be a good excuse to finally get the shop wired for my tig machine.

more progress. turbo is mounted, getting closer to having the hot pipe done. Hit a snag today trying to find a v band clamp for the down pipe so I could work on it tomorrow. A buddy was supposed to get one for me but ended up falling through. So I didnt get as much done as I planned.

I'm not knocking your work but unless there is a lot more room between the coolant tank bracket and the turbine housing you won't be able to get your down pipe in even if you sectioned your own radius.

tig welds should be ground down lol, just giving you crap it's nice to see people attempt truck stuff on their own, you can say you built it.
what welds? the one on the hot pipe by the fire wall? nobody see's that so I dont see the point in spending a whole lot of time grinding it down.

normally you don't grind on tig welds is what I'm saying, you're supposed to make it look pretty to save time and not grind lol. I'm just messing with you, like I said it's nice to see you're doing it yourself.

hot pipe done, working on the down pipe at the moment. I did end up revamping the coolant tank bracket but I didn't have to modify it very much. took about 10 minutes.

I got it at a freightliner cummins cat dealership. I got a compressor outlet and down pipe clamp for 62 bucks. It said the 5 inch one was 8 and the other one was 54? not sure if he just did the receipt that way or if it was actually right. little bit of down pipe work. Kinda tough getting it set up for the front pipe just right.

Thanks! Its really not that hard and was a no brainier once I found out what my total estimated price was going to be. this is as far as I got. Hopefully my cold side tubing is going to show up tomorrow night. although progress will slow down a lot due to work during the week. I hope to have this going on a test drive by the end of this weekend.

Question for you lb7 twin guys. Boost increase valve or no? I feel like it should come out with my all stock engine.

I run an adjustable wastegate actuator on my s472/stock compounds it takes some time to get it set right and you will need 2 boost gauges 1 for total and 1 between the stages
