We had a 6.7 Cummins ecm brick on us. That sucked but found a replacement for pretty cheap. Sorry bro. I'm still waiting for my kit to come in.

Yeah all will be good. Talked with socal this morning and they are going to fix it, and load the tunes on it that I want for a very reasonable price.

I'm not gonna lie, when I see people build their own kit they usually don't have that clean look, but daymn!!! Looks awesome for sure

Thanks! When I pulled into my local shop to have my new tuning installed they asked me whose kit it was. Better than hearing "oh.... I see you built your own kit." Haha.

yea ive seen those kits lol it helps that your kit has the sexy curves of a kit fabbed from a pro and that color to! I'd wrap that downpipe so it looks good and keeps everything cooler

well guys, I got it running again. Been a long 2 weeks. spool up time is definitively better. Smokes a little down low before it lights, but nothing horrible. So, EGT's are definitely high. I need a little insight. Boost leak? I dont THINK( think being the key word) I have a boost leak, I had the stock waste gate hose blow off on my last run and I could definitely hear it. It was a loud leak even coming from a tiny little tube. I just had my drivers side aluminum tube off for injectors about 5,000 ago and it didnt have any rub marks on it. all of the rubber couplers look good too. Maybe its because IM still running the stock waste gate? I havent had a chance to get an adjustable regulator yet. on my 80-100 hp street tune im seeing 1350 pretty easily, and The highest boost number ive had so far is only 38 and that was WOT at 70 and up on the Max effort tune.

sounds good. I hopefully can get one of those tomorrow. So to get me started off close, should I start with the reg closer to all of the way closed?

No that could over spin the stock charger. Leave it open so it acts like it is now, then start crankin it in to where you start to see boost start to climb.

yes it will be fun. I took it for its first little 30 mile "road trip" and its a lot of fun to drive now. Spools great at highway speeds and the sound is addicting for sure.

The lbz ought to spoil a little easier with the Turbo tuning on the vvt. Might hold off on the install till I get the tuning.

still having trouble with boost numbers. I installed a Regulator, but I must need a different one. I have it cranked all of the way down, I can just barley blow through it and im still only seeing about 40 pounds on the max effort tune. I did check for leaks and found a small leak that bubbles a soapy spray right at the air horn for the stock turbo. Wondering if I riped it when I put the 3.5 air horn on.

another little update. Got my down pipe wrapped finally. Kinda a pain with it in the truck but it wasnt bad. Hope it helps keep under hood temps down. If you lift the hood after driving on the interstate the heat wave about knocks you over. I have a question about the turbo blankets by turbo performance. Are they worth it? Id like to get one for my t6, and my stock turbo. Mainly to lessen the under hood temps. On a side note, would it lower the turbo sound? its starting to get kind of annoying on the interstate.

They are worth it, but they won't lower your turbo noise. They will lower your underhood temps though.
