Try and take good pictures of everything as you disassemble it.

Especially of things that could possibly be installed upside down.

I will I took pictures last time I don't believe I could have anything upside down just because I went by 3 different assembly guides but it's always possible

Lots of people have installed Torrington bearings upside down.

I thought the only ones that really mattered specifically were the ones that had an inner or outer lip that sat down in any or the planetaries cause the ones that didn't have a lip the atsg didn't specify which way it had to go

They ALL matter my friend...the only one that I've seen installed both ways is the t4 and don't ask me why...

Alright well the ones that didn't have a lip the book didn't specify which way they went so there's no telling if I put one of those in wrong

Pump seems fine other then that one little mark you can barley feel it with your fingernail but it has just a touch of play in it not sure what the spec from factory is on it.

Nothing stands out on the pump.

If you don't know how to look at a Torrington bearing and tell which way they go I'm betting that's your problem.

Keep digging.

I don't think your problem is in the pump anyway. But one thing you didn't post a picture of is the pump backing plate. That's a critical part to pay attention to.

New pumps from Allison are cheap. Whenever I'm the least bit in question of them I replace the whole assembly.

How was the coating on the pump bushing? Any wear there? Pump can make noise if the bushing is worn and the drive gear starts touching the crescent of the body.
What was in the sump filter?

Would the last one be enough wear to make the pump whine?

The filter had chunks of clutch material found one clutch in the c3 the top one that wasn't fully engaged and you can see where it was chewed up had to put it back in to pull the back side out along with the planetary so that I can measure the clearance on the c3 and c4 and pull them both and check them because those are the two involve with the shifts that I had a problem with I will take pictures when I pull it back out in a few

That's all the Torrington bearings in order as I pulled the rear apart so the first picture is the furthest rear bearing the last picture is the picture of the one against the c2 drum sorry if that's not helpful not real sure how to take pictures like that that anyone will be able that understand haha

Where is the .100 steel spacer that belongs under the plastic washer? That is why your top C3 clutch was torn up.

So c4 clutch pack measured .095 clearance which is to much I have .086 steels in it and I have an extra set of .098 steels for the c3 an c4 because they sent wrong steels the first time and the c4 clutches all look fine so if I swap out 2 steels then that will put me at .069 which is just a hair bellow suncoast spec but higher then factory spec does that sound like it would work? Maybe to much clearance was my hard shift issue into second?

I don't recall having a steel spacer. There was the outer planetary ring inside the clutch pack then the planetary with the plastic washer the single clutch that got messed up was the one closest to the c2 drum like it had slid forward and off of the outer planetary ring.
