Your LED lockup light shouldn't go off unless the speed, boost, or TPS is falling below the thresholds. Does the boost fall below 15 psi on the shift (snuff the charger)?
And you're running the Precision converter correct?
,No, i launch with 10~12psi and its in the mid to high 30's (wastegate set at 38psi)from there on out! It acted the same way with twins on the truck, and just the stock turbo itsself aswell!Your LED lockup light shouldn't go off unless the speed, boost, or TPS is falling below the thresholds. New SC 1054 in august 09, truck has about 10 drag passes and 4 sled pulls with it and the locker in it!And you're running the Precision converter correct?
I haven't made anytime to work on this but my my log looks identical when the box is on or off....
Are you making runs down the street? The reason I ask is my buddy Randy5.0 when he logged his truck on the street the converter locked like it was supposed to. At the track it's not locking up until the 3-4 gear shift. Now he dosen't have a controller but I would think to make sure everything is accurate that you might want to log it at the track just to make sure rather than the street. Seems his under a big load from the get go(boosted launch and it sticking) the converter won't lock like it should. Just a thought.
Its true. It spins the tires on the street and locks up, at the track with little to no spin, it blows through the converter. All runs are in 4WD.
my truck will ALWAYS lock in 2nd gear in part throttle regardless if it spins, hooks, or does a front flip lol this is becoming a serious pain in my ass. I wish more guys that are using the lockup box would come forward because 3 of us here report it does not lock as advertised... i haven;t driven my truck in 2 weeks for the simple fact i wanna roll it off a cliff lol
Which version of the allilocker do you have? The one I have is programmable plug and play that uses the turbo brake enclosure in the cab. I haven't had any problems yet but I haven't had a chance to run it much. I did pick up a little over a tenth with a little over a tenth slower 60' time. I only got to run it once. Brayden's not helping you get it working properly?
IMHO the one that doesn't work LOL i have the "new version" Which doesn't display lockup in way of the LED light changing color not sure why this feature was removed? Fleece sent me out a 2nd box that has the cutout to the plug to program the settings but i don't have the software nor the proper cable. Phinney do you have a log of the run the made with the box on?
Have you plugged a cable up to yours yet? I looked at mine, and it didn't look like I would be able to plug up to it without modifying either the cable or the board. The jack is set flat down on the board and back from the edge a little, and the connection on most cords have some plastic molding around the connection that would keep it from being able to be inserted into the jack.I didn't get to log that run. I usually do log them but I didn't expect to run that day because I had a boost leak in my upper elbow. I did run just once to shut up a dodge guy. I can e-mail you the drivers and program if you need me to. It takes normal cell phone style usb cable to make your connection. I will try to log something soon to see what it looks like. I haven't logged the tranny info yet.
i wish i could program the box to lock based on a single parameter as opposed to 3... say it locks once 100% throttle is reached since it isn't possible to lock it first it would lock right when it hits 2nd? chances are i will be forced to install a co-pilot which sucks.
ATS has sold the Co-Pilot for what 6 or 7 years ???
It has adjustable base and sub levels and it works !!
Why would it suck ??
It sucks because i bought this box that doesn't work so now im out 450$ and i was just down at Mikes shop i would have had him throw one in... not saying the product sucks just that i was dumb to take the cheaper route and it bit me in the ass
