    It's local to me here in California. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on it, I'll offer him a little less but I don't see it lasting long here so I don't want to low ball him.

    The owner says it spun a rod bearing and he can't afford to fix it. The truck came from Montana and has no rust on it. Since it's a federal engine truck my 2004 federal engine should drop right in without many issues and pass smog in Cali just fine. Is $4500 a good deal guys?

    Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to put this but I need some help deciding if I should buy this truck that I found. The truck is an extended cab short bed 4x4 with a zf6. It needs a new engine but as to what happened to the one in it I do not know yet. Still waiting to hear back...

    Didn't sell it yet, but my brother wants it to put in his second gen dodge now haha. Looks like two cummins powered trucks are getting a duramax swap! I'll be using the LMM.

    6 blade vs 11 blade compressor

    From what I have gathered, the 11 blade wheel will actually flow more than a 6 or 7 blade in a single application. The 6 and 7 blade wheels are better in possitive inlet pressure situations. (I.E. Compounds)

    Why's that? Just pure strength? I imagine the 6 speed would be much better than the 47rh for daily driving but the strip would be where the 47rh would shine.

    What about the fact that LMM's have a better injector design than the lb7's and a better computer system that can allow it to turn more RPM's compared to an lb7? Wouldn't that make you lean forward getting the LMM and 6l90e? The truck will be a daily driver so I see a 6 speed helping out a lot...

    If I stick with the lb7 I'll run a 47rh with a manual vb. The problem is the adapter plate and a custom manual vb will be a lot of money. That's why I'm considering buying this '08 van engine with a 4l80e behind it.
