    Air comes back out at you from intake? Only time I’ve ever ran in to that was plugged exhaust. Truck usually started first then stall and won’t fire again. MAF readings would be all over the place

    I like the 80 and 90’s for that reason. Coworker built an LT4 for a 56 C10 and I talked him into letting me build him a 90 for it. Hope the rest of the engine build goes good. No back ordered stuff.

    Ok I’m curious of all this just on a cost basis. Both cylinder heads is roughly 30 hours alldata maybe? Just that job alone in a shop nowadays is $5-$6k labor. The cost of a new Garrett turbo is 1300 by itself. So if this guy is using quality parts and he knows what he’s doing I’d fix it for...

    I’ve never found it in ARP instructions to re-torque the duramax heads or powerstroke heads. But it was something that was done when I did Cummins cylinder heads. Don’t know why, I think mainly because after a heat cycle I would recheck lash as well so why nut studs too. But they’re way easier...
