    Dual CP3 rail pressure question

That sure looks like a rail pressure regulator chattering? But, try the large pressure compensation to be sure as well as large time compensation B1017 which you may want to slow down. Edit: Being an LBZ, B1015 would be your best bet. Also, monitor you rail temperatures.

    Dual CP3 rail pressure question

Is this the LBZ? Try adjusting fuel pressure parameters B1018 and B1019. LLY B1008 and B1009 Duty 99 and 1 respectively. Otherwise, adjusting the large adjustment would be in order depending on response time in the log. Post a picture if you could.

Well said. Thanks Depending on how low you want to go. Also, talk with a shock dealer and get the low down there.

Just be careful with the pinion angle if you don't change the front spring mounts at the same time.

Thanks for the update Heath. My understanding of your tnt runs is you were spinning the tires up the track a little ways. Was this true?

Found the noise in my engine

I bet protrusion is still too great. Otherwise, the whole piston top wouldn't be seen on the head.

Found the noise in my engine

Thanks Guy. I wonder about the " at a glance " clearance. Would this help explain why the exhaust side of the piston top hit the head and sorta rolled " if you will " into the other side top to head?

Found the noise in my engine

What about skirt to cylinder wall clearance? .030 seems to be a big load on the rings not counting the obvious.

Found the noise in my engine

Pat are you saying a .060" piston may repair this depending on the largest hole? Really though, it would be best for us to provide better measurements with the proper mic.

Found the noise in my engine

I see, most likely is. I was measuring one of Kevin's stock pistons and got the .035" difference in piston top to skirt difference. Again, he we was rough measuring, nothing in stone as you know.
