    The cp3 installs right under the tstat housing. You can't see it unless you remove some stuff and no you won't hear it run.

    If not hoses have blowing off or are leaking sounds like headgaskets.

    Headgaskets? Or a coolant line from the rad to the overflow tank let go.

    You would think it should fit by putting it through the hub first then bolt it to the axle.

    Sounds like they are too long. I can do mine in my driveway and only need to remove the swaybar end link from the lca. Doesn't even make sense why the rotor and caliper should have to come off since they are on the outside of the spindle/hub.

    Agreed with you. Ive found world parts cv axles seem to last the longest for me so far.

    Don't really see a reason to run those unless you are lifted with torsions cranked and lost the spacers that come with the lift?

    Mine has never been off, tried to use it in 2010 when I bought the truck and it wouldn't drop. I'm sure it'll hold alot.

    12mm cp3 is 1200hp capable. I believe a few have past 1200rwhp with one. I DD with a 12mm exergy, no issues.

    That -3 on the one cylinder I don't like and bet is causing your knock. Buy a nano tech 2 off Amazon for $100, that's what I use and is cheap then you can disable that cylinder and see if the knock goes away.

    Warm the engine up and run it hard until you make it knock then pull over immediately and check balance rates at idle.

    OP said truck was serviced every 5-7k with amsoil. I would assume either 15w40 or 5w40.

    Bare minimum of upgrade parts needed for longevity for a sub 700hp build.

    I've read fluidampner isn't good for cold climates and the viscosity of the fluid thickens up and can cause balance issues which can lead to a broken crank.

    LB7 Rebuild

    Does it have good oil pressure still and use no oil? I'd just do the headgaskets and maybe replace cp3 and injectors.
