    I have experience with the Limitless Converter by Evan / Suncoast. This converter gets my vote hands down the best converter I have ever driven.

    After lots of abuse and that many miles also built with clutch material from what was available back then there is a possibility your c3 clutches and steels took on all the heat they could withstand and gave it up. Thats alot of fun beating on a trans for 100k!

    All depends on mods and how much $$$ you got to spend. Personally I would go with the lmm. It will definitely last longer. With a dmax to hit 105 @ 5k feet in elevation generally a good tune lift pump built trans and lockup controller will get you there.

    This converter works better than any other converter that I have ever driven. We have driven this up to 9500' in elevation and what a joy to drive. This converter puts the power to the ground. I think of it like a good clutched cvt setup. You put the hammer down it just keeps pulling.

    I would drop the pan and change your sump filter while you are in there. Never a good idea to have parts or particles floating around in the pan.

    Well we have a limitless trans and converter running here @ 4500' and will have the ability to take it up to 10,000' testing. @ 4500' the trans and converter are unbelievable. I will report back with higher elevation results in a few days. Great job once again Evan!

    Good luck on that man. Some will take a beating in stock form with sizeable numbers and some fail at lower than average numbers. If money is a concern if it may blow up then leave it alone. A good running 500 rwhp tune in a daily driver is good fun and have proved to be way reliable. Good luck.:eek:

    Its always a big step to take going from a solid known setup to another setup that you have high hopes for. Depending on the goals I guess a guy will have to look himself in the mirror and decide if its really worth going to another setup that may go faster and may blow faster.:confused:
