Latest Diesel Power Magazine, I'm from Missouri on this one.

As an observer, I would like to commend you on the way you dealt with some of the blows in this thread. You could have easily gone off the rocker but you instead let us read between the lines in an outstanding open community manner. I'm not taking sides, just saying ' Great Job '. Carry on.

Truck only hits 1100 degress in a quarter

Not knocking placement or questioning installation but, saying probe tip orientation is everything. Is it possible the probe is not positioned correctly within the port? EGT's seem very low even for a smallish fuel quantity. Do you have a stock turbocharger and stock muffler?

    EFILive DVT injector control

I'm not saying you are not right. I'm only saying at operating temps, when water is sprayed, even after killing the cylinder, ports are close, hot and therefor will heat the dead cylinder to a point. idling, port temps on an lb7 may not reach 212 degrees. So, re-heat could take a while even...

    EFILive DVT injector control

Gasser EGT's are high enough at idle to instantly evaporate sprayed water. That approach on a diesel is hard because they don't idle with enough egt temps to evaporate that spray. :o With water, it's still a guess for me. Do you have stock manifolds? I've used an IR heat gun and still find...

    EFILive DVT injector control

Oops, didn't see the color scheme. That was not the case for me. killing injector 6 killed firing order injector 6. All others were number for location also. However, an easy time consuming check may be in order to confirm for yourself. For me, an 01 along with an 03, I have found the DVT...

Ubuntu Linux folding..... time to see how it goes

I thought I would but, since I use the " Wine " wrapper, FAH does not really support it. I thought I'd wait and get some more info or wait to see if the new Linux core cured the problem. However, I may post a comment regarding the restart to see if anyone else has noticed. What do you think?

Ubuntu Linux folding..... time to see how it goes

Looks to me like viewing this latest wu log ( for me wudata_04.log ) gives a checkpoint time stamp which I think I can use when I have to stop the fahcore process. I think this will help me from corrupting the file if I stop the process knowing I am not during a write stage. Also think I can...

Ubuntu Linux folding..... time to see how it goes

Reading around on FAH some of the terms used were over my head. So, I looked a little deeper and this data helped me put a picture of what they were talking about in my head. DD step 6951999 load imb.: force 7.9% Step Time Lambda 6952000 27808.00000...
