Truck only hits 1100 degress in a quarter

Running a 120 ppe tune and the truck only hits 1100 degress in a quarter. I had a edge juice on a 120 tune and it would hit 1500 in a quarter. The ppe should hit close to 1500 right? What could be wrong with it. I changed the fuel filter and cleaned the air filter. While driving the truck at 70 the temp is about 700 degress.

Never been to the track have a spot on a farm road marked off. To me it seems the edge did alot better than ppe. Can it be a corrupted file in the computer or the ppe.

Most of the PPE tune get alot hotter once you get on level4 and up

I think PPE measures hp @ the crank and EDGE measures @ the rear wheels?

Not knocking placement or questioning installation but, saying probe tip orientation is everything. Is it possible the probe is not positioned correctly within the port? EGT's seem very low even for a smallish fuel quantity. Do you have a stock turbocharger and stock muffler?

The truck has a 4" exhaust with a open muffler and banks air. Every thing else is stock. It's the same probe hole that the edge was in I just changed probes when I put manual gauges.

that dont seem too bad. my truck on 37s and weighing 7800lbs would hit 1300 under WOT up a 6% grade. and thats stayin in it a while. bumped it to lvl 4 and that was a whole different animal.
