Is that this truck with a paint job and more crap added?

Also this thing would look better if the rims were 20" and had some rubber on it.

like that thing will ever see any kind of condition to use those tires might nick a rim or get a drop of mud on it

Seems like some of you guys want to dictate what a cool truck should look like because of what pleases you. You are wrong.
Everyone has different tastes and they are the only ones that they need to satisfy. Some of you prefer brunettes, blonds, redheads, or bald when it comes to women. Who has the right to tell you your judgement or tastes are wrong?
I work on a lot of trucks and see things I would never do to mine. Thing of it is; it's none of my business and it was not modded to please me.
If it pleases the owner of the truck; God bless him and I hope he is happy.:happy2:

He wanted a show truck so he built a show truck. Some want fast street/race trucks so they build them, thats their prerogative. I agree that the diesel magazines could show more purpose built trucks rather than just big show trucks.

Lol isn't that last photo ICULKN's truck, a member on this site? hahah. Some times those trucks are fun to look at but they are totally impractical. I will just keep my subscription to car craft.

Yup the dually belongs to ICULKN a member here.

I've actually seen the dually in action in Glamis sand dunes.

Is it really too much to ask for them to do articles on "real world" trucks that do more than sit at autoshows, where owners actually built on their own with their own money. Just some of the time for chrissakes....

Hell, have drag racing and sled pulling sections where they outline someone's truck, and the work that went into it. Highlight sledpulling organizations and their members. Anything real....

The trucks currently in the mags are the real "ricers" of our hobby. Lots of bling, no performance.

The dually was built by its owner, Mike.

Mike,

Did they mention you in the latest mag. Something about beta testing components for one of the aftermarket mfgs?

I see things on some of these trucks and wonder why they do it, but if it is what the owner wants, then that is up to the owner. The fact that the magazines focus on them is more because of the shine appeal. For me, what is appealing about some of the trucks is not the lifts, but the driveline and power plant mods to make one of these trucks put down over 600 hp.

well its good to see someone useing it as a truck instead of a trailer queen

For you.

The Mona Lisa was a wall queen and never expected to have sex because the creator wanted it that way.
Everyone is creative in their own way. They should be allowed to enjoy their creation without ridicule.
Bet there are more people that enjoy that kind of truck than the macho killer trucks that we love.

I love lifted trucks and personally love the pics of the trucks posted. When I cant afford sled pulling anymore the first thing I will do is get a 10-12 cognito and build a street terror on 40's:woott:

Here is my first truck and I regret ever getting rid of it, even though it was for my dmax.

I never said I did not like the $$$$ trucks They are nice to look at. I was only pointing out I did not like the rims he has in the photo. The LMM pic was just one that looked like the Yellow LMM but with a paint job.
