I wish GM would release a 1/2 ton diesel!!

Take some engineering classes, the sudden acceleration and deceleration of the engine puts the most stress on a chain. Boost pressures can actually assist in the opening of the valves. Hence the reason you install heavier springs in high boost applications - It levels itself out in a sense.

Allison 6sp: Important 2015.5+ Allison info

I enjoy stabilitrac and all ESC programs. I even think it is a great idea to re-enable the system above 35mph like the 15+ do - there is NO reason to drive around with it off at h/w speeds for 99.9% of drivers. People that want to turn it off think they're faster and better reacting than the...

    Quick question!

Does anyone know if you can log the 6-speed via EFI Live or Tech II and tell if a transgo-jr. has already been installed? Or am a left to pull the valve body and visually confirm?

    Home built fuel system

Here my setup: Holley HP150, Cat filter heads and filters and built it to separate air from the fuel. The filter bases are drilled and bolted to the cab. It's basically a fass or airdog system but quite a bit cheaper. I've also clamped all the lines to the frame since the photos

    AWD t-case conversion?

07.5+ You can use a MP3023 and swap a few parts from the 1026shd to make it a bit stronger. - auto 4wd/2wd etc... They come out of a yukon/suburban hd that has the 6l90 iirc. It'll hold up to average street abuse, but not hard launching. The clutches fry.

    Public Restroom Rant

#1 reasons why I DO NOT shit in public restrooms, lol - Sanitation aside. I will hold until the point of a stomach ache before I allow that to happen. :roflmao:

    LBZ: Trans build prep

I would heavily advise you not to allow them to take the rear housing off while it's in the truck; it's too difficult to keep everything aligned.

    LBZ: Trans build prep

IIRC, the thicker steels are installed in the center for better heat dissipation. I would wait on Mike or Andrew to chime in as I have no experience with those specific clutches though.

    New injectors and this happened.

Doesn't appear to be, but light is limited at the moment to tell with any certainty. The weird thing is, it leaked all that while it was off and it's on a decline.

    New injectors and this happened.

I was helping a friend change his injectors on his LB7(used injectors). We took a risk on them being used and paying the price, hence we're buying new ones. However, in the mean time, the truck sat in the driveway for about a hour and did this: (PIC). The fluid has the consistency of oil and...
