    Hmm, I suppose the turbine cover has a bit to due with sound as well. Seems a bit quieter than a 03 PS. Then again, could very well be the camera mic.

    Replacing the pistons seals would be a good idea, right? I imagine stretching can happen once removed.

    This may seem like a stupid/ridiculous question, however; would it be required to use new seals on the allison if I where to take it apart (Are they one time use?) if the transmission is brand spanking new with under 50 miles on it?

    So with that being said^, would it be "detrimental" to the health of the crank to turn off pilot injections at higher rpm?

    Hmm, that looks to be a pressure wave from the pilot injections then the main injection? I'd imagine the rattle is causes by the flame fronts colliding on a multi-injection system and the single large flame front in a single injection system?

    That's why I made the thread, I was like surely those aren't steel for that price. I really wish mahle would hurry up with the monotherms :(. I have this fancy MP3024 transfercase that I've been building to make stronger and really have high hopes for 700hp DD with auto 4wd.
