Let's see your gas powered hotrods....

No real gas powered cars to speak of. But does this count? '81 CJ7 with AMC 304ci in it. Frame off restored a few years ago. 598ci engine in my one boat. in the 725hp range.

    Finally got into the 11s

The 1/8th mile speeds at 92-93mph are right on for a 113-114mph pass. I trap 89mph in the 1/8th for a 112mph 1/4. Either she is letting off, hitting a rev limiter due to the small tires, or the truck is nosing over on the big end for some reason. Do the smaller tires really hurt your trap...

    modification\cheaping out regrets

Bought an SDP egr delete pipe only to pull it off 4 months later for a full 3" HSP y Bridge and piping. Ran a Labonte Water Meth kit for about 6 months, biggest waste of money on the truck by far. yeah it added a tiny bit of power, but was a pain in the ass to keep working properly. Not to...

    Finally got into the 11s

Great ET! Trap is down for sure when compared to your 1/8th trap speed. Could be the smaller tires hurting it.

Oliver connecting rods for the D Max

Oliver Rods are fantastic in the gas world. Have a set in my boat engine. Not sure why he would be against posting pictures. Oliver doesnt have anything about them on their website.

    Wow. That is fantastic

    Power

You really need to get a good efi live tune and a built trans. I cant believe your stock trans is still holding anything with the amount of fuel that those two boxes are throwing at it.

    Allison Trans-Brake

Do you think this would be harder on driveline parts, i.e. axles, differentials, U joints, CV's, than normal brake boosting? When on the brakes everything is loaded up and under tension, no slack to cause sudden shock loads. In this instance everything is slack, so any little play would cause...

    Oval Chamber Pistons

Unless they are miniature turbos, I don't see how they will fit. There is barely room for three under the hood. Maybe stick a few in the bed? Lol

Man that is a bad ass truck. Nice run Steve.

    Mud race trucks

    That was cool as hell

Can't get the turbos to light in a cummins

I am assuming the tune was updated. Those are giant injectors. Are the twins gated? I would think that if they made it to 30lbs that going past that wouldn't be an issue.

LB7: Y bridge recommendations on a max effort stock turbo

I didn't say they aren't a worthwhile investment, just pointing out that the stock gaskets aren't guaranteed to go with added boost. And it isn't the studs that are necessary, it is the gaskets. The lb7 lly gasket is a bad design that will fail eventually, the head bolts are not the issue. It...
