    Anyone “overland” ?

Well then, that’s pretty much the ideal scenario to not do it haha.

    Anyone “overland” ?

Dang, does look good and low. I’d look into a deaver mini pack to get rid of the block in back, I loved how my old truck rode with the Cognito 4” ntbd and deaver mini pack. You’ll have the payload of a 1/2 ton but that should still be fine with what you’ve got back there, unless you’re also...

    LB7 Kodiak Exhaust Brake Wiring

That’s pretty cool, didn’t know that about the Kodiak. Were you/are you going to use a factory brake or use an aftermarket one? bummer about the OS, I figured you were intending this for your black 02 build

    LB7 Kodiak Exhaust Brake Wiring

I'm interested in what you come up with... but also confused, how does factory exhaust braking work without a VGT turbo? Edit: just realized you said exhaust brake and not turbo brake, so I'm assuming you're adding an aftermarket brake but looking for it to be controlled through the ECM?

    Anyone “overland” ?

Haha oh I know all about that. It’s the worst reminder around my birthday when I start getting automated birthday emails from all the random forums I’ve forgotten I’ve signed up for. also, here’s a shot from my trip the other weekend

    Anyone “overland” ?

Expeditionportal.com has a good full size section, and even some really great GMT800 tech (although more geared towards 1/2 tons) The fullsize picture thread has some great motivation I enjoyed taking my LBZ out and just did my first trip in the LB7, but didn't wind up camping like we wanted...

LB7 Airdog lift pump install questions

Man, I just wasn’t able to get the line fully onto the connectors no matter how hard I tried. I had the connector and hose dipped in oil and I was using nearly my entire body weight to push down on the hose with the connector on a towel/concrete. How did you manage that magic? Heating the hose...

    Always ‘save as’...

Ouch, never had that happen with a tune but I’ve definitely done it before with other software. Sometimes it can work out better because the second time around it just makes you better at it and little tweaks make it better. Hopefully that’s the case here.

    Interior - cloth seat replacements?

Dang I always forget to check my All Data DIY for stuff like that. But after looking all I could find is an electrical schematic which doesn’t help answer the question

    Tank/Toolbox Combo

Yeah tell me about it, I was pretty pissed when I missed out on a local one listed on Craigslist for $450 because I couldn’t get there in time

    That’s some impressive mileage

    Tank/Toolbox Combo

I’ve also been looking to get one, but I’m looking for a used one because I don’t really need it I just want it ha. Interested to hear other comments, but the one that I’ve liked the most is The Fuel Box FTC-60 which is a 57 gallon, but they do have an 87 gallon that looks nice too. I’m...

    Interior - cloth seat replacements?

Bringing this back up because I’m thinking now about lumbar/heat. I’m thinking I can find a fully loaded leather seat setup and door panels, even if the seats are torn up, and then swap some Seat Shop foam on and eBay repop cloth covers. my question is, will the harness be there for the seat...

    07 blown head gasket purchase

Mornings don’t get too cold here Yet but I’ll try when I can get over there. Will the coughing and chugging point to potential top end problems?

    07 blown head gasket purchase

I’m potentially looking at picking up an 07 classic with 170k miles with an assumed blown head gasket for a good price. supposedly it drinks coolant at a decent rate. curious if there’s anything I can do short of lifting the heads off to make sure it didn’t bend a rod or damage itself internally.

    Injectors from Oregon Fuel Injection

I’ve used Lincoln twice for two of my LB7s and I wouldn’t use anyone else in the future. Like Tom said, it’s too expensive of a job (whether you pay someone else or yourself) to do twice or worry about get SACs and forget about it.

    Duramax IFS Suspension

Oh and I have the fronts on, didn't have time to do the rears before the 1200 mile road trip last weekend. Much better on-road. I have another 600 mile on-road trip this weekend, and the following weekend another 1400ish mile trip with about 60-70 miles on mild trails, so I'll really get to...

    Duramax IFS Suspension

Due to time and desperately needing new shocks I just went with the Fox 2.0 984-24-663 & 664 for “0-1” lift applications. eventually I’ll pickup the Camburg arms, deaver mini pack, and install the kryptonite lower BJs I have sitting. When I do I’ll take more measurements and start mentally...
