    EFI Live is legal in California, and with a federal emissions truck you won't have to worry about anything. Just be careful, it's a slippery slope and a built transmission will windup on that list sooner or later. But it's worth it :cool:

    I'm certainly in the "hate on him" crowd. Mainly I'm just personally butt hurt, they don't make the GMT800 trucks any more and it just annoys me to see them destroyed in such childish fashion. But, props to him for making a brand out of it and making money on it... I guess?

    Well, interesting. Good to know, I'll definitely take that into consideration before purchasing. I'll spend way more time on wet roads than I will than any other surface (other than dry asphalt of course).

    I saw someone suggest a door handle off the rear of a crew cab for the driver door so there's no keyhole any more But then you're kinda shooting yourself in the foot if your fob battery dies or gets fried What/how are you wiring up the kill switch to?
