    Buying a truck with P0741

If the LML converter is really better than a lbz converter then it's going to be hard to beat for $480. I may just order that and a gasket kit. Never looked inside a trans before but maybe I can get on youtube and learn a little. Not paying someone $150 per hour to do it, id rather roll the dice...

$600 for the transtar from All-Season/DHD. So it's right in the middle price wise but I think it's refurbished, which I'm fine with but still don't know which one is best bang for my money..

    Buying a truck with P0741

Looks like its a little over $700. Vs the new LML converter for $480. Does anyone have any input here? If they are comparable ill go LML, if the revmax is significantly superior to the LML id rather pay the extra..

    Buying a truck with P0741

Im guessing a lml converter with a transgo junior would hold 450 pretty reliably. If I wanted a 150 tune on the tow truck just for goofin off if i was ever drivin it without the trailer?

    Buying a truck with P0741

Me and three buddies all had 06's and theyve all had to have pump rub kits installed. One of them totally lost his with a thru and thru hole around 180-200K so its seems to still be an issue on these trucks. Thanks for the heads up on the bell housing/ujoint idea. I will def check that out!

    Buying a truck with P0741

Im giving $18,000 for it. He is firm on the price. I dont think its ever been tuned, only thing I can think of is maybe the guy that had it before him lost a trans cooler line and burned the converter up before he figured out what was goin on. It also has a new transfer case, probably pump rub...
