    Got 1,000 miles on the engine now at 550ish hp been driving it pretty hard. I just changed the oil yesterday for the second time. No change in engine sound since fireup, going to be headed to Mark's soon to see what he can do. At this point I'm pretty much used to it being a little noisy....

    I would spend the money and throw a new oem or callies durastar crank in there and stay stock on the valve springs and pushrods if your staying around 650. Just my opinion

    I have replaced wheel bearings and ball joints, pitman/idler arms and wheel bearings multiple times on my truck. But I still have the factory steering box with 280,000 on it. Seems fine

    He does have a tool and he did shut off each cylinder one at a time, didn't change the noise.     If you rev it slightly the noise does get faster but it also gets quieter or either u just cant hear it anymore over the engine noise, once you hit like 1200-1500ish rpms you cant hear it anymore. Havent tried the stethascope yet may give that a whirl

    Listen to one video and then the other and swap back and forth... they were taken in the same location and the passenger side is much much louder.

    Evan told me to run C gaskets, so I got those from Brad Sankey. My mechanic said it will be next week before he has time to look in there with a borescope.

    Tuning has not changed, same injectors and fuel pump also, just swapped from my other engine to this one. The other Engine did not sound like this and the knocking noise is coming from the passenger side. Tony Burhard and Evan at DHD have both seen the videos and agree something is not right.

    Thanks for posting those videos Brad, rail pressure is 5300 at idle.
