LBZ rail pressure sensor on LLY

Care to share the scaling table with me? I just picked up an LMM sensor.

    Lock up box

It is big. I wish i had a picture of mine. I mounted it to the bottom of the dash right next to my center console. It isnt in the way at all and is easily accessible. I would say the box is 2" wide x 4" long x 3" high, in other words it isnt small. I havent heard of any issues with teh...

    Ounces vs LBS

You dont really need 8 lugs per tire, you should remove 4 from each tire. Drop in unsprung weight is where its at. Probably save 5 lbs!

    Lock up box

Nice, i like that. I would like to move the manual/auto switch from the box up to the dash. I may do that.

    Lock up box

I use the manual mode to unlock it (since it will unlock immediately if the big switch is in unlock) when passing on the highway, but it has always locked back up immediately when i put it back to factory mode. So not sure what you mean about it wont lock up again until you shut the truck off.

    Broken Crankshaft Alt Fire Cam

That sucks man, hope it isnt broken. Now im all worried about my crank, haha. Stock cam and all. I guess having a 5 speed is better in that my cruising rpm is very very rarely under 2k rpm, which should keep me out of the vibration zone.

    Lock up box

OP, since you have a 5 speed I would highly recommend the DHD switch. Yes it is big and chunky, but it works everytime without fail. Since your trans will not lock in first you dont need to worry about forgetting to unlock it and stalling the engine or crashing as a result. Just have to...

    Allison 5sp: Trans cooler

Yes holes in the front of the bed. Draws air in from the gap between the cab and bed and blows into the bed area.

    LMM: CP3 Knocking HELP!

Usually the idle pulse isn't decreased much, if at all, for larger injectors.

    LMM: CP3 Knocking HELP!

He shouldnt have any problems considering his truck is an LMM. Only the FICM equipped trucks had issues with high lift pump pressure causing the FPR to freak out. You could try turning it down a touch though and see if it helps.

Only one I have, not home for another three weeks.

    Allison 5sp: Trans cooler

I drive it every day, it is my DD when it isn't broken. The trans warms up way faster than my other truck, but levels out once it gets above 160 degrees. Then it really slows down. I have not seen over 200 degrees with it yet, even with the temp over 85 degrees and at the track. These are two...

    LMM: CP3 Knocking HELP!

Have mark build your tunes off your original stock injector file if it idles fine and sounds fine with it loaded. Sounds like a corrupted file to me if the original tune doesnt do it.

    Broken Crankshaft Alt Fire Cam

I dont believe that the glow plugs fire with the injectors, instead I believe that they all heat up at the same time.

    Allison 5sp: Trans cooler

I do. I didnt install it but it is two Setrab coolers with fans. Mounted to the bed, they draw air from the space between the cab and bed. Surprisingly they keep hte trans pretty cool, especially considering the pressures I am running. Normal driving it runs about 120* F over ambient. It...

Duel CP3s or single nodded CP3

No, your truck won't make over 23k either because that is all the pump will support our that is all the tune is commanding.

Duel CP3s or single nodded CP3

Once you command over the rail pressure sensor's limits, which no matter what dont read over 180mpa, the rail pressure will continue to climb, you just cant see it. So you command 190mpa, set all your limiters above that, and the truck will never actually "see" that pressure. As a result the...

    Broken Crankshaft Alt Fire Cam

I couldnt imagine what a dart block and crank would cost for a duramax, considering what the rest of the diesel industry charges for hard parts. :spit:
