    More than likely you variable timing now because your reluctor wheel has come loose....You should be able to take the sensor out and slide a screwdriver or finger and check to see if there's play.     To be honest, the coating on the top isn't worth it, that's my opinion. You will here different opinions. The sides are coated, just like every other mahle race cast piston.

    DP 68 or 4094 with stock sticks

    Either charger will be ok with stock fueling, but like stated above, we recommend atleast a 45% over injector to get some of the manners back like a stock charger. Our DP68 will make more power down low vs the 4094va, and alot of that is the exhaust housing design. If you plan to go big later...

    You still have to have a tcm with a 3rd gear start.....The tapshifter won't do that by itself. You can give me a call at the shop if you have any questions.
