LB7 - 5" FTE Resonator/Muffler
Cool deal. Do you have any pics you can post up? What kind of clamps did you use? I have a full Banks 4" system including muffler. Was recommended by many as being mostly drone free, and it's really not too bad at all up front but my rear seat passengers say it's a bit obnoxious on long...- dndj

Cant seem to control/alter pilot injection (LB7)
Not an expert, but is it possible that B0753 Pilot Injection Coolant Compensation is coming into play? Pretty much zeroes out after 154 deg F and above though, so it would have to be a scenario when the engine isn't fully warmed up.- dndj

Checking for proper pinion preload without axle disassembly?
That's a good idea. A factory manual for an older Dodge truck I had described a method for pinon seal replacement. Basically made a measurement of the rotational drag with an inch-lb beam type torque wrench before disassembly. After the seal was replaced, they had you tighten the pinion yoke...- dndj

Thanks for the update - looks like you got it. Very helpful for people with similar issues years down the road reading this thread. Sometimes open connections like these can change depending on how you flex the wire, those are even tougher to find because everything looks great until the wire... -

Correct. Yellow and purple/white should have continuity from the FRP regulator all the way to the pins on the ECM. You should also unplug both ends and verify no shorts to ground or power either. -

About the harness. At the FRP end, you should have a yellow(regulator control) and a purple/white (regulator supply voltage). Schematic shows this to be a shielded harness, so perhaps that's what the 3rd wire is on the other end, just a connection to ground. -

P0090 diag runs when the key is on and the commanded FRP regulator current is between 400-1500mA. The DTC sets if the FRP current is not between 50-1600mA. A wire may have been broken during your repair, or possibly smashed under something (grounding out). Regarding the high DFRP at 11k... -

2007 GMC 3500 HD No crank No start
Pin 86 on the starter relay should go to +12v when key is turned to start. If it does, then yes, leave the starter relay in place and do this check to make sure the starter relay itself is connecting 30 to 87 when energized. If Pin 86 isn't going to +12v when the key is moved to start... -

New Work light That I really like.
I've heard great things about the Astro lights, and the original Klein light discussed in this thread looks really nice too. FWIW, Harbor Freight has a similar thing, lists at $40 but comes on sale regularly for $25 or so in their ads so it's a pretty great deal. They have an aggressively...- dndj

You're right Josh, for the automatic A/C. The control logic likely uses this to determine how aggressive things need to be set to reach the inside temp set point. I didn't read the original post closely enough that the mystery sensor was an ambient temp sensor. -

Getting a code after my tuner was installed
Post above covers the TCM power and ground circuits. The single wire circuit associated with P1781 which the TCM requests MIL to the ECM is C1 pin 25 on the TCM and C2 pin 53 on the ECM - dark blue wire. This is info for the GMT800 03-07, I know there are some differences in the 01-02 trucks...
