    Wow.. Big talker on here. I was asking for his definition of hard. Does he mean this is a quick change and no data logging / testing, does he mean he's ok with tweaking with it for awhile, what does he define as hard? Some guys find changing the tire size is hard, others don't care about...

    I would disconnect every ECM and TCM connector with the batteries disconnected. Then reconnect them, examine the locks to make sure they are right.

    You replaced the front two body mounts too? My brother has had his intermediate shaft replaced 3 times due to the clunking over the last 8 years.

    How much extra would that machine work cost you? What is the run out in the cylinders? Are you just going to continue running your same pistons after getting them cut?

    Sounds like the common problem with either intermediate shaft or body mount. Search Duramax Forum for underbody "clunk".
