    I think technically you can remove it, but for a dedicated pull truck were your sitting at the line trying to spool a big turbo it's alot harder to control the fueling with out it. On a manual pull truck, no MAF needed.

    No, you need the 03' 6.0 10 blade turbine. Flows more air up top.

    Has anyone built there own modifed VGT? I would like to build my own LLY turbo for my 05' LLY DD. I was thinking about going to a 66 or 68 billet wheel, Fingers light weight veins and a 10 blade 6.0 Ford turbine. I'm a Machinist by trade, so I can machine the cover and exhaust housing if needed...

    You can use the DRW axle, just remove the inner and outer wheel and put single wheel on. The track width will be about 4" wider than a standard SRW.     My Fuelab 200 doesn't seem to have any problem keeping up with 2 exergy 10mm pumps and 150 injectors. I ran -10an (5/8") from the fuel cell to bypass regulator, than Y'd into to -8an (1/2") to each cp3.
