Drw to srw swap !?!?

So I recently got an 03 gmc Sierra 3500hd crew cab dually 6.6l duramax/Allison tranny and it's abit of a pain in the ass to deal with living on Long Island makes it not easy to park it in normal spots I don't mind but (my pregnant girlfriend complains about how far away from anywhere we go I have to park cuz of how fat my trucks ass is ) so I want to do a single rear wheel swap ! I'm not 100% sure how this is done aside from what my father has told me so far so I'm trien to get feedback on the subject ! Any kind of help or suggestions from someone who has done the swap on the same truck would be extremely helpful ! The sooner I can figure it out the better ! (Not trien to get yelled at anymore by the old lady) haha thanks everyone

You can use the DRW axle, just remove the inner and outer wheel and put single wheel on. The track width will be about 4" wider than a standard SRW. The only problem you will have is if you use a factory wheel the center cap will not fit over the long dually hub.

For the front you will need to remove the dual wheel adapter/spacer, than you can bolt on a normal wheel.

The change has already started ! Selling toys and counting pennies but I believe what your saying is true ! I'm more excited then I've ever been before ! Only issue is getting the old lady to like my truck as much as I do hahahaha

Any guy on here will tell you that you can't explain that feeling of holding your child for the first time. You can not describe it. It is the most awesome thing you will ever do. Your woman will never like your truck as much as you do, lol.

Congrats on the baby girl. My wife and i are expecting our first(girl) in june. Iwould think just finding a srw axle and a differrent bed wpuld do the trick but never did a swap

Duramaxzak definitly pointed out the easiest way of doing it so that's how I'm going to go about it ! And thank you ! Congrats to you aswell ! Ours will be here at the end of May !
