    Looking to see if anyone might know the differences?? I can tell the rear housing will probably have to be swapped to work in a pickup. Anyone else know of anything else??

    I can have mine out of my 4x4 on my lift in 45min. But trust me that's getting after it. I'd replace cooler and radiator as mention above if the other tire up or shelled out. I wouldn't trust even the best cleaning machine for what a trans cost.

    Yeah I like the way it runs no doubt , trying to decide what to do with my Duramax now. Wife is tired of me throwing money at it so may stud it when I fix the head gaskets and sell it or trade it or something if I can without completely loosing my ass.

    Ok, just making sure something wasn't wrong with mine or if there was some $1k fix to bump MPG 2-4mpg I'd be all over it . Like most times the advertised 15-21 is bullshit. I see guys posting 17+ avg and either gotta be bullshit or they are in a base truck that weighs a lot less or something .

    What kind of mileage is everyone getting with these??? I just bought a 2011 CrewCab King Ranch 4x4 with 3.55's and the 3.5 ecoboost. If I take off slow and drive it like 60-65 on the hwy and take it easy the little I drive in town I might get 15mpg. If I drive it normal 75mph hwy and take off...

    Duramax Rear Main Oil Seal Installer Tool

    You can tap on in gently if your careful with a punch or make a tool but no doubt a installer is faster, easier , and takes risk out of messing the seal up.

    Not sure why they weren't running a billet block after the first one let loose on them. Unless they thought the current one offered wasn't a good design?

    I got my last injector from Brent and great to deal with so he earned my business, just forgot they offered other parts since most post involve injectors .

    I have my own lift at home, easier to pull the cab or engine to work on??? I have a bad back and no way I'm fighting it leaning under the hood to do it.

    Well mine rig now needs head gaskets , guess I need to buy a Toyota so I got something I can drive while I work on my Duramax all the time. Who makes the best head gaskets? If I can get them in a set with Arp studs great let me know where . If not I'll buy separate .
