    He’s checked all that , lift pump new as well. They have had a scope on it etc no electrical issue they can find . They are pretty positive mechanical prob of some sort. Yes it has fuel knock. Can crank the truck runs fine 5-10 seconds and then defaults to 160mpa.

    I've worked at Peterbilt 6.5yrs, John Deere 5yrs and now at Kenworth in part sales etc. If you need an idea of what to stock etc and what they cost and how to get the best prices feel free to hit me up . Also can let you know how over the counter parts warranty works etc since that can get tricky.

    If it won't work why not? Can rear housing be swapped if different etc? We have both engines complete so can swap some things around as needed ,if it can be done ?

    Impact it , as much time you have spent you could have already pulled the head lol. I'd almost bet $100 it will come right out with impact. Cordless might be better since you can feel more than with air.

    I had one like this myself awhile back due to inj cup leaking. Coolant and possibly oil cooked around the glow plug probe itself . I thought threads were the prob but I finally got pissed and hooked my 3/8 IR impact on that bitch and spun it for awhile . All the grime etc that was stuck to it...
