    still yellow! buffed it, with a polishing and rubbing compound. alot! still have that yel;l;ow color. any other ideas?

    well, the truck is in alaska, but i just bought it in arizona bout 3 weeks ago. but i guess ill keep trying with the polishing compound, and my buffer wheel.

    idk what its from. its more yellow where the tape was, and real light yellow where the tape wasnt. its so faint no one would probly even notice, but i would. haha. it kinda reminds me of oxidation, or like when headlights tart to yelllow.

    i tried a polishin compound guys. used an electric wheel and by hand. still yellow tint. did prolly 5 or 6 times. any other suggestions?

    debadged my truck today, and went to take off the black trim that runs along the lower door to the bed, and took off both pieces of trim on my bed. it left behind a really faint yellow color. any ideas how to get it back to white?

    buddy of mine has an 01 lb7 duramax. edge programmer, CAI, 4 inch mbrp exhaust. he was sayin how sometimes in seems like it takes longer to start then others. he says that when its warm, it will take a second or little bit longer to start then usual, but sometimes it will start up real quick...

    6L Vortec Problems HELP!!!

    my moms 03 yukon xl 6.0l vortec was having the same problem. had it flushed, thermostats changed, tried everything. i ended up trying some supercoolant called water wetter. it runs at 195-210 in 100 degree heat now.

    my buddy had similar problems.. but his truck was all stock. ended up being the neutral safety switch. idk if a built trans would even have one of those. just a thought..

    well i think im guna go ahead and get the ppe lift pump.. when i drive my truck back to alaska from here in utah, im guna have some guys from fairbanks tune my truck and put some gauges in.. that will get me started for now. new tranny soon after that.

    ill be rebuilding my trans before i run that much of a tune. if i were to throw in a lift pump right now, would that feed me to much fuel? and should i wait for all these other things before i mod the regulatr?

    well i think im going to save up some money, and then im going to have burn down help me rebuild my tranny. if i want to be able to run a 12 second quarter mile, wats a good torque converter and how much should my tranny be able to hold?

    id like an on the fly tuner, my grandpa doesnt have a ig truck and uses mine alot to haul heavy loads, and would like something he could understand and be able to use. thats why i was leaning toward the bully dog 40420.ive already staight piped my stock exhaust, and gotten a cold air intake.
