starting problem/ smoke

buddy of mine has an 01 lb7 duramax. edge programmer, CAI, 4 inch mbrp exhaust. he was sayin how sometimes in seems like it takes longer to start then others. he says that when its warm, it will take a second or little bit longer to start then usual, but sometimes it will start up real quick when warm. he also said its been smokin a lil more then usual.

injectors maybe? hes had one or two replaced, and has had new head gaskets put on also.

Hes thinking injectors, talking about having them all replaced.

any suggestions?

if it is injectors, he was thinking about putting in all bigger injectors. will he notice any power gains? mpg, better or worse?

yes yes and yes... it might not be a hole lot but he will... there are some good vendors on here so shop around..

whats a good injector? nothin to big, just bigger then stock.
