You can either buy a modded regulator or do it yourself. IIRC, there is a tutorial on porting your regulator. I'll see if I can find it.

I run the PPE lift pump, but there are others that do just fine.

Be aware, a PPE Hot +2 set on kill (10 power levels), or a serious EFILive race tune will smoke your trans like reefer at a Grateful Dead concert.

ill be rebuilding my trans before i run that much of a tune. if i were to throw in a lift pump right now, would that feed me to much fuel? and should i wait for all these other things before i mod the regulatr?

Here's what's up:

Our CP3 (injection pump) has a small built in lift pump on the rear. This is higher than the fuel tank. Under high acceleration like drag racing launches, the pump struggles to suck in the needed fuel.

An external lift pump is usually mounted at tank level, and helps the factory lift pump.

HOWEVER, the lift pump doesn't actually do anything but feed the high pressure injection pump. Lift pump = 3 to 15 PSI pressure. Injection pump = up to 26,000 PSI.

A lift pump will not affect your fueling, HP, or mileage in normal operation. It's only useful for competition purposes to guarantee the factory lift pump does it's job. It can't "force" more fuel into the engine than the existing injection pump provides.
