    Kill switch

i realize they are typically operated by a cable, but i know some people who rig them up electrically. I like this idea so I can have a switch in the cab, yes i realize i could turn the key off but that wont stop runaway motors. im looking around on dmaxlovers link but i will most likely end...

my states minimum wage ($6.50) or your states minimum wage(8.00) the halon fogging system is a great setup too. I just like keeping things simple by using a 5" butterfly shutoff

Question: has anyone tried a kind-of 4 link rear traction setup?

33x12.5 seems to be the choice size for STSs. However they do take a lot of power. If your tracks are loose you may be ok. But if you have hard clay tracks like around here then you may be best off getting a set of BFG A/Ts. By the sounds of it your tracks dont take much power, especially if...

    Tires

Need some input here. I know 315.70R17 BFG ATs and 33x12.5 STSs are the two top tires for pulling. I was going to run the STSs but with the motor build being put off till next year i dont think I will have enough power to turn them. All of our tracks are hard clay. And most of them have...

    Kill switch

I didnt see pics but heres what happens. That cable will only give the amount it takes to release the shutoff. Past that its still a really strong cable and can crinkle the intake tract which will take everything else in its path. there is a reason why every (smart) puller runs a zip tie

    Kill switch

no because it still is tuning and DSp switchs dont work on Bosch ECMs currently if ever.

Due to a difference in rules across the board I opted to go with Engineered Diesels butterfly shutoff. Its pricey, but its also safety, where cost shouldnt matter. expect to have over $400 tied up when its all said and done. I wont say the price of the actual shutoff though. call chris or...

    S400

I dont know how much it will be. Im fabbing the stuff by myself. The New pedestal, downpipe and intake plumbing. Its not ball bearing or watercooled as far as I know. The GT42 magnum was for my other motor, not this current one. This S400 is for this years season with a stock motor.

    S400

^^^^exactly. it gets confusing as different people go off of different measurements. I figured when I put it in us terms it would clarify. 2.8" inlet. 3.0" out
