Well here is what the turbo is going to be, it will have a 71mm compressor wheel and a 74mm turbine wheel with a 1.10 A/R T4 housing.
i guess they offer a .90 a 1.00 a 1.10 and a 1.25.
i will be running chrises air shutoff
The turbine is much bigger then the 4094, If i understand it right garret has the inducer of the turbine on the web site its 77mm, the inducer of the s400 is 83mm, the exducer is 74mm!
It will actually be real close to the 4294 in compressor and turbine side actually just a pinch larger! But im willing to be the GT style turbine wheels flow better!
I'm going by what he post,
Right here

How much will you have into this with install kit and all, also is not a ball bearing or water cooled turbo your getting right? seemd kinda off since you were talking going a gt42 magnum not getting one that seems to be small on the turbine side.

Well its done and sitting in my shop. Ended up with a 1.00 A/R instead as he felt it would probably be a little better choice.
I also broke down and bought PPEs GT42 install kit and so far i am not very satisfied with it. for what they charge you would think they could maybe build the pedestal in a jig and not make it look like a cobbled together piece that looks like it was made using parts fromt eh scrap bin.
Regardless of looks, the fact that mine isnt square has caused it to not fit. The T4 flange hits the intake manifold and wont let me get the pass side pedestal tab flush. I tried it on my other block and the pass side pedestal tab hits a part of the block and would need to be ground down to make it work. In addition the upipe flange rubs the block and probably contributes to more issues. i dont like how rough they leave the ports, they dont even look close to the same size.
The worst part is that the T4 flange is not square with the upipe flange or the mounting brackets so my turbo faces the drivers side about 5" assuming we are looking from the rear of the turbo.
They also forgot to ship my spacer, but i guess that will be in tomorrow, now the spacer does me no good without a pedestal.
Heres a pic, but its not like its amazing, its just another turbo.
well if they all come out this way thats fine, but if it was welded on square it would clear, or at least with minimal grinding.,
not to mention i think that the Airwerks housings are nicely designed and the ETT wheels are second to none
