    LB7: Can Injectors be bad but still pass the balance rate test?

    Can't be a cup, they don't work that way. And yea, the pintle seats could be leaking and balance rates still look ok. Just go ahead and replace them.

    Harshman Automotive in Smithsburg is very good. They have built a few high Hp duramaxes and have years of high hp (1000+) gas engine experience. The best part is they are diesel guys, Luke has a old Chevy w a twin turbo cummins and Randy has a Excursion with a cummins in it.

    I don't see how that could possibly be the issue. If i were you i would just keep running it until you know for sure. Its not like its going to cost you more to fix it then.

    Yea, that's the trouble maker. Pull it off and get some felt tape and put it at a couple places and it should fix it right up.
