    Poly bushings transfer too much vibration. I have experienced it in a customers truck and prefer my bolted stocker for sure.

    Merchant mounts will make your interior rattle. I would recommend bolting a new stock one.

    Just drill a hole in the mount and put a big grade 8 bolt though it. Costs about $5 and works just as well as the expensive ones. :)

    Honestly it annoys me too, its a diesel truck site for Pete's sake, I don't want to be scared to scroll down when I'm browsing it at lunch and the bosses kids are beside me ..... not a pick at this site btw, this is one of the best sites I'm on as far as clean avatars.

    I have the exact same mods and w a stock turbo I did 471 and with a 66 I did 529 so yea, id say your low for sure.

    I saw on another forum where this guy said he put the turbine wheel out through the exhaust housing.... I guess that would be a thorough test. :roflmao:

    Glad you found it, I hate those noises you cant pinpoint! I've been chasing a tick under load for a year or so and finally a local diesel mechanic was in a truck beside me while driving and said he would bet money its a injector overfueling.

    I have a friend with a Precision ball bearing 75mm turbo, lbz pump and 45% over injectors on his lb7. He daily drives it and it flat out moves! Makes me want to spend more money on my truck :/

    Fuse, I used to keep blowing mine till I went with a relay harness from retrosolutions.
