    Yes as Mike said the 58 doesn't fluid couple well at all. Basically unless it's locked it's very inefficient. The 78 still gives you some rpm to help spool your turbo but puts the power to ground even unlocked.

    Take it HSP I physically went there and got thier builder started on building Allisons and he has done many since. I sell them my kits to install.

    The 777 is 1054 it's nothing like the 1078.

    Might as well add Mike Graves new Pro street truck. Haven't made a 1/4 mile pass yet but still in the 9's. 4500 pounds Kory's tuning Allison trans.

    My personal experience with 72R-vgt to SXE369 swap.

    Interesting as with everything and everyone results may vary but I sure do have a lot of great running non smoky fully built trucks out there that Kory has tuned.
