Yeah but mine is a Lb7. LMM rods are proven to hold 550 hp all day which is enough for me till I double my income. I could pay cash for a built motor right now but it wouldn't be extra money and I'm not gonna put myself in financial danger over a truck! But if you have a bent rod they didn't necessarily work for your goal did they? Just saying
I've got 8 spare good lly rods sitting here if you need one
Those would come with a low mileage never been pushed hard guarantee right?
Were any of them bent?
Pull the glow plugs and have 2 people watch while you crankstarted the rig up tonight to pull it out of the garage so I could do something to my car. It was 55 degrees in there and it had a horrible knock sound when it started. It let out an enormous cloud of white/blue smoke that filled the building. ran kinda rough for about 3-4 seconds after start up. I'm starting to think and injector is leaking into the cylinder while it sits. any way to confirm this?
great, now I'm worried again. Id be selling this PIG if I found out one of the rods were bent.

Mike is one of the luckiest people who've ever been on this forum. His truck was far, far from the norm.
Imo his tuning played a large part of his motor surviving.
I think the big single also helped keep the rods straight on mikes truck
So his tuner has the key to keeping rods straight at 700hp that no top tuner has figured out :roflmao: come on man...
Say what you want but it was pure ****in luck
