    Yeah that was kind of along the lines that I was thinking. I'll see later today. Doesn't seem too bad as I do have it torn down the whole way basically now, really not that bad of a job.

    Long story short I managed to break the bearing(s) in the upper steering column. It looks like there are two (front and back side of housing) but can't seem to get good info from the parts diagrams I've found. Am I out of luck trying to replace these bearings and need to get a new column...

    Anyone in the know aware of a lux amp calibration for the extended cabs? I know there used to be the C3 denalis as an extended cab, just not aware if they had the true lux amp.

    If I never have to hear another story about a child being backed over in a driveway because even the combination of the three mirrors failed to show what was immediately to the rear of the vehicle, I will be happy that cameras have done their job.

    I'm not quite sure this is what you're asking, but the difference in sound when the vanes are open in both cases is due to load on the engine (in park vs in gear).
