    Transporter

Will do. They got outbid on the first car they were looking at (think it's actually airing right now) but I think they've got another on the block tomorrow.

    Transporter

I have a couple buddies down at Barrett Jackson right now. If all goes well I will be heading that way with a trailer. I'll let you know if I am. :thumb:

    Lml lights

Are you looking for performance or looks? Performance wise, do a retrofit with a of proper HID projectors. There are brackets out to bolt in FXRs. :thumb:

    LED lights causing dark spots

PNP LEDs will always cause dark spots to some degree with current designs. HIDs in a proper projector still are the way to go performance wise when it comes to driving lights (barring the rare and expensive laser assembly). What year is your truck?

Weird rattle from bell housing area?

Going to piggyback on this one. Pretty sure it's the converter (older ML converter) as it has about 100k and 4 years on it. Truck drives fine other than the noise and the slightest touch of the throttle it will go away. Haven't had a chance to check the bolts as it just started doing it last...

    LML Topper shell shopping...

When I was looking Snugtop seemed to be the best built to me and what I was going to get. Though I ended up picking up a Carryboy which I didn't think I would find. Wish they didn't quit making them.

Man that stance is perfect! The wheels definitely fit the overall look way better than they should :thumb: Looks like it's gonna be a sweet build!

    K10 LS swap

Well shoot, this thread might have just given me the motivation to get this thing out of the shed and going again after it dropped a valve a while ago.

    Trans for conversion

I'm not too worried about cost. I've got the whole truck, so with a little horse trading I should be able to get the parts I need. I'd like the car to stay stock height, or maybe even slightly lower, so going up is not an avenue I'd like to explore. I'm not too concerned about fitting everything...

    Help with stance

For reference, I run a 325/60/18 on a 0 offset 18x9. I'm not cranked fully (fender to hub 24.75"), but did a fair amount of trimming on the bumper and only had to tie back the liner in the rear. You'd most likely be into the metal on the bumper for a Chevy. Your results may vary.

Been a long time Ethan! Truck's still looking good! :thumb:

    Trans for conversion

That was a concern, but I've seen two other stock frame tri 5s claiming an Allison only mentioning tunnel issues. Guess I could crawl under and measure.

    Trans for conversion

So, have had this plan in the back of my head for a while. We've got an old '55 four door Chevy that's been in the family essentially since new. My old man even drove it in high school. It's sat for a while, but it's in good shape with a nice original patina. I had always planned on...

    Monster drinks are the devil!

A lot of times that's due to deep compaction caused during installation.

    Starting Rolled Motor

Yeah everything seems to have checked out good. Let it idle for a while. Need to pull the trans pan as I'm pretty sure the sump filter came off (hopefully) and we should be in business.

Fired right up, thanks guys. Intercooler looks cleaner than mine and it runs smoother too :roflmao:

    Starting Rolled Motor

Yeah planned on pulling hoses. Don't know why I didn't think about killing the injectors for the first few cranks. Thanks :thumb:

    Starting Rolled Motor

Picked up an LBZ that rolled 3/4 and sat on its side. Motor has 200k on it, and truck is currently stored outside - don't have a good way to warm motor up to pull plugs. Afraid my odds of breaking one are pretty good if I pull all 8. I'd like to move it into the shop under its own power...

    2017 Duramax

You're looking on the wrong side of the state. Got quoted 52,500 for a CCSB LTZ that I looked at.
