LB7: Stripped return line banjo bolt.

Yeah, drilling them out went very well. Just in case anyone experiences this and don't have an extractor like myself. Till next time, thanks guys. lemonade stand

LB7: Stripped return line banjo bolt.

No they just keep slipping and tearing up the outside. I whipped them down really good to get oil off too. Those bolts were in there good. lemonade stand

LB7: Stripped return line banjo bolt.

Nvm, found another post about drilling them out and it worked. Idk about getting it out of the injector but at least I can take the line off and put the new ones in. lemonade stand

LB7: Stripped return line banjo bolt.

Just hit a snag in the middle of doing my injectors. Need some advice on how to get insanely tight banjo bolts out. My vices and locks just can't do it. Started with the driver side first to get the harder part over with. Bolt closest to the front of the truck is absolutely gone and so is the...

LB7: Oil leak and soot buildup

Yeah I get the dirt/gunk where the wet surface is but in the upper area of the photo there is some soot like buildup that concerned me as well. No idea where it came from. I'll check out getting it scrubbed down this weekend, tearing it down for injectors. lemonade stand

LB7: Oil leak and soot buildup

Just need some thoughts on what could be causing the leak but more importantly, why soot is building up on the outside. I don't have symptoms of a bhg. If needed, I can get more photos. Thanks in advance. lemonade stand

    Help/opinions with truck makeover

I had to remove my bags unfortunately. I'm still trying to figure out a way to relocate them. Completely deflated, they were too tall. Yours on the other hand may be fine but Idk by how much. I went with the 3" shackles and only took out the overload. lemonade stand

It just replaces the OEM center link that, well basically isn't straight. Instead of having two corners on both ends.

    Help/opinions with truck makeover

Nice! I did Fabtech's when my truck was leveled and their still doing fine. I've heard from a few that they aren't the best to use on lowered-ish trucks though. Mine sits with the CV's level and that's about it really. This is kinda of a "to each his own" type thing but I only removed...

    Rookie question

http://dmaxstore.com/products/?route=product/category&path=12_149 Should be good to go with that. If you haven't purchased the deep pan you can get the larger one there too or just grab what looks like 3 gallons of Transynd, internal and spin-on filters.

    You Don't own your Truck!

nailed it. I mean to a certain degree of course, but yeah this day and age its all about what can be had and done with the littlest effort physically and mentally. Shame really.

    You Don't own your Truck!

Yeah I remember reading something about this on Jalopnik I think, a couple weeks back. Pretty irritating but as many have said, it was only a matter of time before this came about. Majority of these big companies are just looking to secure their investments and technical data whilst squeezing...

Well, after a quick look through that garage I must say that is one pretty truck. Super clean engine bay, I love it.

    I'm an idiot

Had a friend of mine get sidetracked at the shop by a few fellow techs needing help. He was doing a simple oil change, put the oil hose down as if he was going to fill it and got called away. Came back later thinking it had already been done and drove away for a test drive. OOPS. Seized motor...
