Late to work this morning so I got caught in "the line". 30+mins at idle speed waiting for my turn to get in the gate.... Once I get in there is a hill that is about a 1/4 long. The whole way up the hill the truck was dumping white smoke...just like we us to do back in the day with the black smoke....
Balance rates are good. 1 is at 2.xx, 3 are at 1.xx and the other 4 are at 0.xx.
Injectors have around 150k on them.
Gauges all read normal to include the EGT and boost.
Stock tune...for the last year or so.
Truck felt normal...
The last 50k miles the truck has been using about a qt of oil and coolant every 10k miles.

What do you think is causing the white smoke???

I have a 3k mile trip with the TT, wife and grand daughter planned for Aug and don't need "anymore" issues...

Sounds like it's time for injectors. A quart of oil in 10k miles isn't terrible. Ideally it shouldn't burn any but I'd be more concerned about the loss of coolant. If you have no visible leaks the best you could hope for is an injector cup beginning to go. But it could be head gaskets or cracked head.

Did it again this morning...maybe I should just get up earlier...

Upper rad hose isn't getting hard.
Coolant tank "looks" dirty but the coolant looks OK on the paper towel I dipped in.
Oil looks OK...no "obvious" evidence of fuel or coolant.

My thought on the coolant lose is that the water pump is leaking.
