    Maybe loverich will chime in but could the fluid not be slippery enough and the valves sticking in the bore?     Pat, When I worked at GM. I did a good bit of training on them. I really enjoyed the way they drive, lots of torque. All the parts are really top quality. They are fairly easy to work on and have tons of new technology. I think you will really be satisfied.

    The 6l90 and 6r140 are remarkable simalar. Our 6.7 ford trans holds up to 650 rwhp. Tuning in our ford we can really jack the line pressure. Start a new thread trans tune or raising line pressure on 6l90e. Maybe we can figure it out Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

    Porting to reach high rpm breathing

    I believe this principle is applied when the walls are left rough to create turbulance. the turbulance acts as a bearing to speed the center flow which is 90% of the mass anyway. This was always my argument for leaving the porting of a runner or head rough vs smoothing to a lower ra finish.
