Porting to reach high rpm breathing

Yes jeremy wagler and brodax. Just spend the money You will be less into them and they flow 300 cfm unported. I bet 400 cfm with a good port job. That 3000 crank hp worth of air Schied billet 6.7 eat your heart out. Haha Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

    New garret gtx4088 - sema

Mark, I was sort of being sarcastic about chinese billet knockoff wheels. I do like how the 4094avnt performs with the 64mm lly front cover and wheel though. I just play around you are the expert Mark. But this is how we all learn stuff. Thanks Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

Fahlin Racing if you are really looking to get some good flow you need more meat in the casting. Get with Mark Broviak on here and buy a set of Brodax heads I bet you may find the answer you are looking for.

    New garret gtx4088 - sema

Ok so we buy a gtx4088 and rob the compressor wheel, a core lly front cover set to put it in, and the back half of a gt4094avnt turbo. If Garrrett won't sell the wheel seperate go to alibaba.com hahahah

    Valves Recession

If the heads were overheated plan on injector problems as well. The heads are the heat sink to cool injectors. hopefully it is all fine good luck

    Valves Recession

So then that would cause overheating, the op did not mention overheating, but if the heads were dry of coolant yet the coolant was still circulating in the block but not the head would the ect actually read hot? Could the heads be getting hot enough to make a popping sound? I say it would be...

    Valves Recession

Are rockers or upper valvetrain dry from lack of oil? Maybe backwards gaskets blocked a passage. Idk because I never tried flippin gaskets lol Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

    That feeling we all dread

Like a scraper. That's a good point and I really never thought of it that way. I use the bore/accumulator buddies a good bit and I guess knock on wood never had a problem. A full annular tcc valve is chamfered in order to help reduce oscillation, and they do not pack contaminants in...

    Valves Recession

I am not totally sure but I think he was saying that the heads were milled but the valve seats were not touched. You would know better than me but the only spec I could find was installed height for the valves and valve guide wear.

    Valves Recession

Take valves out and mill the face. They are usually just .005" above the head. I think the spec you want does not exist because the heads are not to be resurfaced. You could also use grade c head gaskets they are the thickest. Or you could measure piston potrusion. If the valves were hitting...

    That feeling we all dread

yup its the e shift valve stuck. Its the center valve in upper valve body. To confirm this drop pan and pull fluid pressure switch. Take scan tool under truck and monitor tfp data. Use pencil eraser and gently push buttons on switch to verify they change. SWITCH MUST BE GROUNDED TO CASE DURING...

    Ngm diesel racing engines

Wade and Dimitri both have wicked fast duramaxs and both get help from industrial. Wade has nice products and lately has been great on pricing. Maybe everyone here could give a guy a chance. The block deal was 6 years ago. Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

Works on a dodge. But the 47re is a wonderful trans and loves added power. Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

Porting to reach high rpm breathing

In a diesel there is minimal overlap and typically high drive pressure so overlap is counter productive unless you just have to have egr. Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk

Porting to reach high rpm breathing

I always thought the diamond shaped valves layout was a function of rocker arm and bridge design. The swirling air may help scavenge remaining exhaust gas from cylinder if there was a considerable amont of valve overlap and reasonable drive pressure. Sent from my SPH-L300 using Tapatalk
