i messed around with B0783. first i tried just 0 on the hole table. well that didnt work so well as you know. it was weird i hooked up the scan tool during this to see what was going on. it would regester changes in the tp but the rpms would not change. so i had to change other tables. i havent got to drive it much to see if there is any difference

did it work with the other changes 200/200

Can we just summarize what the issues are so we can keep track of everything. I'm trying to get Ross to spend some time on this next week (Larry, it may be time to bump the thread you created on our website :) )

Larry - your issue is occassional lack of pedal response
Ben - your issue is weird defuel

Are there any other issues?

Cheers
Cindy

i think that with larrys issue ( which we are all having) there is something limiting fuel from going to full fuel when we stab the throttle. this is just what i think

occasionally, i'll put together a tune on one of the dsp switches that seems to be a good strong running tune, however it will have a nasty defuel, although the tables that control defuel are the same on each switch position. The defuel is not present on the other switche positions:confused: Probably the same thing as what Ben is describing.

My greatest want for the LLY's (dsp) is to have the max vane and target vane tables on each switch position :D

Larry, sorry to break it to you but Ross hasn't/isn't/won't review the DSP parameters - it's simply too much work at this point of time. When DSP was in the concept stage we did request feedback from users about which tables they thought would be most useful. Given the list, and the limited available ECM space the tables were prioritized. Now that we are 3 or 4 years down the track reviewing/changing this feature is a MAJOR project, and not something that we can allocate time to when there are so many more vehicles we could be enhancing support for - including LBZ, LMM and all the 2010 OS's.

To try to track down some of these fueling problems we will need to add in a number of DMA PID's that allow us to see the fuel values from the initial first non corrected value to the final output. This is something we do on the gas engines with spark as it really helps track down where the 6 degrees of timing went missing that was in the base table.

Ross at least enjoys working with the LLY ECM and intends spending some time on it this week.

Cheers
