i think that with larrys issue ( which we are all having) there is something limiting fuel from going to full fuel when we stab the throttle. this is just what i think

Don't feel bad as my lbz does the same thing. 1900-2000 rpms builds 8.5 pounds of boost. 2200 built 10 pounds and the tps was showing more. Taking out my brake torque management helped as far as take off at the same boost level as before but still can't build more than 10-12 psi without pushing through the brakes but I also dont want to sit against the converter too long trying to build boost. I know you said you left once around 20 psi but the other runs I watched it sure did take it awhile to get the boost you was looking for during the launch. I'd hate to be your converter:D.

Cindy, what about the weird defuel problem I'm experiencing with the LMM? Do you think Ross will have a chance to look at that? I posted some logs and tunes on the EFI website.

Have you tried adjusting your boost tables to build more boost at lower RPM and fuel quantities? I've always build exactly what boost my tables call for (or relatively close anyway).

really i didnt think it was that long compared to some of the videos that i have seen. the main thing is i just do it really slowly. probably slower than i should. i do have a problem where if i push the peddle down to far it seems to kill the boost for some reason. might be in the timing table. the one time that i did launch at 20 i walked through the brakes and red lighted. i dont really see any reason to launch any higher than 15lbs

Josh, the LLY and LMM issues will be totally independant. None of the work Ross has done to date on the LLY can be ported over to the LMM. Ross will be able to invest time on the LMM defuel once he's nutted out the LLY issue. We are still waiting for feedback on the LLY PID's Ross has created.

Unfortunately, you'll need to "remind" us. Ross has started receiving 2010 OS's to add support for - we expect that in total there will be at least 30 or so OS's to add. In addition Ross needs to start working on supporting the new LMM TCM, and we both will have our hands full when our now overdue baby finally decides to join us!

I'm not making excuses for us, it's just that priorities continually change, and reminders do make us "refocus".

Cheers
Cindy

Old thread.... was there ever any resolution? I'm sure hoping by now that Ross & Cindy have had their baby or else she's WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY overdue....

Hate to drag it up - but i'm having a bit of a weird LLY problem... really weird. 85 mm3 like clockwork on the dyno. Log is attached..... at least until > 3000 RPM.

Then the truck wakes up and finished off the rest of the dyno pull in about 1.5 seconds - shifting peak torque and lots of other things WAY to the right (peak toque was 3300 RPM).

Any ideas??? Or any progress on this? Just happened at WOTE dyno competition saturday.....

Oh no........... no LB7 stuff..... i don't need any more 'stuff' to figure out :) Better or not... i've spent enough to get to this point. Whats so weird is it works great (doesnt have the problem) at the track.... fuels fine, just like it should.

I'm thinking its the MAF limiting tables.... but havent been able to prove that yet... hard to recreate a dyno scenario with low load (i think they said they loaded it to 18%???) on the street.....

As far as the 30 psi levels , My problem was my tuner. Once i oover came the fear of EFI live i figured it out pretty quick. It not that hard, will pull 45+ PSI all day long now.
