Hauling with big red 2013 LGH. Much more driveable truck than LMM

Only have one wd hitch arm on, electrical box in way on other side....not the first time one of these factories have mounted something in the way.

Hooks on this thing are huge.

Makino a61. I think it is 40hp. But it's a true 40hp, it will run 100% duty cycle at max output. It's either 40 or 50hp can't remember exactly.

Spotted this the other day, brought the truck to local GM, of course could not get honest answer from service writers, "that is nothing to be concerned about"

900 miles pulling with 600 miles to go, can smell the gear oil getting near rear end. Rear axle is hot to the touch.

On the bright side look a llama.

Actually seen 3 in the trailer.

Started milling an angle on some 304 stainless and countersinking holes to 24mm. Started on the small piece first.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Happened to a couple dealerships here, they fired everyone who wasn't minimum wage, then wondered why they lost all their clients. Now they are trying to get the employees back.

Leaky plug welds are common. Means the welds have started coming free from the tube. Something I would have some concern about. Needs to be drilled out and rewelded.

As for the heat, make sure the diff is full. When you load the truck down, the read diff gets hot. The bigger diff covers actually help there.

Thank you for the response. I have never seen this on my 2010.

This leak showed up on the 2013 dually less then 60,000 miles on it.

Taking the truck to the big city dealer later this week. Should be warranty work.

Some trucks leak, some don't. Some earlier than yours, some much later. It's really a luck of the draw. I wouldn't say it's a rare occurrence but it happens

If you clear coat them after buffing they will hold up for quiet a few years garaged or not and that would be with just rattle can coating. Without clear coat they would probably need another buff in 3-4 years.

The rubbing compound I use is called Wizards Cut. Any local paint rep or shop will have it, its a big hit for final buffs after paintwork

Placed this Aérospatiale Gazelle helicopter up on a platform so we will have more room to restore the B-17 that's taking up the rest of the hangar.... Not really work, it's more like fun!
