Little lift.

Worked on this lift about a week ago. Have not had time to post the pic though. Was supposed to be 600 ton, but came in just over 500 ton. Thing we lifted was the center section between the towers. Client had the roof trusses where our equipment was sitting.

No. That's at the NASA complex inside the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. It's a test stand for the liquid hydrogen tank for the new SLS. That structure is only about half the height of the VAB (been in the top of the building). If you look up the Saturn 5 Rocket test stand, this thing is just East of that inside the same fenced area (34°37'56.44"N, 86°40'15.80"W). From the top of the structure you could see all kinds of neat stuff. Even the dust clouds when they were setting off ordinance on the base.:)

Missed the lifts in Texas with our 1200 tonne crane setup with 120m (yet is correct 394') of main boom.

Been messing with my wife's '08 Yukon Denali. The air bag light is on. I had the neighbor in the auto shop scan it with his Snap-On and it says front sensor, position 1. Can someone tell me if this is the drivers side front at the bumper? What is the proper way to replace the sensor, unhook the battery and let it sit for a couple hours or what? I've never changed one and don't want to set em off.

Inadvertently testing torsional strength.. 3'*6'*8,000lbs.. for those unfamiliar, a steel would have 2-3x the twist with 1/2 the weight

Yes thats the one at the bumper. Just unplug it and plug the new one in. Just did one 3 weeks ago. You can unhook the battery if you want to be safe.

Yesterday I had a 3hr meeting/brickerfest with facility operations because they don't know the requirements of there own work permits. It had my crew twiddling there thumbs for 2hrs after a late start due to no one forwarding me the results of an Asbestos test.

Thanks to that my pre work paper work went from 20mins to just over an hour before our equipment can start digging.

Sometimes I wonder why I just don't got back to just operating equipment...
