That 30lbs of weight saving was so worth losing the AC over since it never gets hot in AZ :thumb:

It is....you also dont have the extra heat from the AC system bleeding all over your intercooler and another layer of airflow restriction..

John, I highly doubt this little bit of heat transfer is gunna make any difference compared to the crappy air and heat we have in general. I bet you would see a 1-2hp difference at max and even then it's not notable due to variables

So in other words, Andrew wins

No....a 1-2hp gain is still a gain...Its not worthless.

No it is because you will never see it back to back due to so many other variables like intake temps, outside air temp, air density, what is being used to cool your air charge (the fans I front of the truck), human error and the dyno it's self. We are talking a power increase so small you wouldn't be able to record it on the track either. I am being generous with the 1-2hp. I would doubt you see anything

Everything adds up.....maybe not in AZ....too ****ing hot there. I have no issues driving in 70-90 degree temps with the windows down....even with 50% humidity

I like the clean look and extra space it gives by deleting the Ac.

True...but most importantly the free space to run 3 pumps.

needing free room is a valid reason, not so much living in 115* heat to pick up 1/4 of a tenth of a second in a truck that is underweight for super street

I winz

I can bear with the dry heat but when the monsoons come and humidity goes through the roof at 105* and 90% humidity, I'm all about a/c man.

I already don't like having to drive my Sami right now but it's the price you pay to be a pimp! Lol
