Some more squats tonight, I like em more every time I do them.

8 x 175
8 x 200
8 x 225
7 x 255
4 x 285 may have been able to get 1 more but didn't push it.

I'm ordering a belt this week and also gonna grab a couple more 50lb weights so I have room on my bar. I have a lot of small weights...:D

I cringe at the thought of a massage therapist attempting to unravel the knots in my lower back. :roflmao:

I have yet to find a place with someone strong enough to un knot my back. The large fan muscles in the back really like knotting up lol

I appreciate the responses. I guess I am old enough now that things won't just work themselves out. Sucks getting older! I just need to make the time to do all of the accessory work now to keep things semi painless.

Took me about 45min for that. Legs are pretty shaky. I'm trying to build back all the strength I lost during my summer cut.

You know you are doing things right when you forgot how much weight is on bar cause you lower back is all sorts of angry. ;)

Did some rows, and a few sets of decline situps. BW as of this morning is 230lb, I'll take it.

Time for a weekend of hopefully relaxing laid back stuff :thumb:

My allergies have been horrible the last 3 days. I can't breathe out my nose and I feel high as a kite I've tried so much allergy medicine...hoping this weekend maybe I can hit the gym and maybe do one of those fancy dropsets or a drop set super set

My wife is making me shop with her:baby:. My quads are shot. Getting over the curb onto side walk about put me on my ass.:roflmao:

First day back under the bar. No pain, just some tension. Worked sets of five up to 205 just to be safe. Paused them all for three to get more out of the bitch weight. DL same up to 185.

Feeling good, but don't want to push it. Treated it like a stretching session really. I'm just grateful to get to touch the bar today.

After work went to a new GYM last night as my normal place is being revamped.
Haven't worked out in about 8 ish days. Decided to do a mini mock meet with lightish weight for sh*ts and grins.

Walked for awhile this morning to loosen them up.

Decided to hit my aux. chest/bench day at the new gym. My gym will be open tomorrow and I didn't want to feel like I wasted 25 bucks going to the new place, I'm a frugal powerlifter:D

Good read if you have a minute. Mike MacDonald is probably the best bencher ever. Oh and the rest of his lifts are Elite status as well... All RAW no Shirts or sling shots...

Lifted today,worked so much thursday and friday had no time. Round 2 of weights on my legs. ..... squat 135x10 2 sets,205x8,225x5. Lunges,30# dumbells x4 sets 5 each leg. Dumbell deadlifts,10 reps x 4 sets,60 #. Kinda scared pushing my back....
