Whoo Hoo welcome to the brotherhood:D I'm gonna guess that your going to be hurting just from that unless your really active. You can always try 2x20 at 235:D

Dafuc is Alfred? Did you crossfit yourself onto your head? I actually look forward to Leg day, wreck my back day not so much:spit:

Albert! My bad. Can we still be friends?

I did step into the "I'm not sure I should drive right now zone" after today's workout. Heavy snatches. My favorite. :D

Legs are a little sore but my neck and shoulders hurt more. Am I doing something wrong?

Nope, thats why every idiot can load a leg press up to 800lb but can't squat more than 315. Strong back and core are more important to squatting.

Take some vids of your form, and constantly try to improve it. Efficiency is the name of the game.

So I really hate benching.

Squat, got to "work in" with someone, who then realized his def of heavy did not match mine
5x225
5x265
5x335
3x375
3x435
5x365

Row
worked to a 3x255

Bench
5x135
5x165
5x195
5x225
3x275

Nothing ever feels good when I bench, and I know its cause I am never consistant with it. Just hate benching. However, 1000lb club with just S/D lulz

Is every other day too often to lift?

Thanks Matt & Mitch:hug: That was a lot of hard work for that pull...

Gmc, you can lift as much as you want.... If you start getting worn out and not recovering well between workouts then you may need to give yourself more of a break. Are you doing a full body deal every other day or ?

I've been trying the chalk liquid and I hate it. I think I made it to thick though. The little flip top on the bottle dries up and plugs up. Then when u squeeze it it blows chalk everywhere lol. I made a way bigger mess with this stuff. So my deads have suffered from grip trouble. It's like it don't get enough chalk on my hands. Anyway after being frustrated from all that I ordered some liquid grip from amazon paid 26 bucks for a 1.5 ounce small refillable bottle, and a 8 ounce big bottle to refill with so we will see soon, the reviews were awesome.

Hmm, I'll slap that big strongman sob and call him a liar next time I see him... Well maybe not, he is 308 pounds and has a Hulk tattoo on his leg:D

Maybe I got the mixture messed up? I'll ask for sh*t's grin's, next time I see him.

It's hard but you have to learn to not let little things like that rattle you. It can wreck a whole training cycle, I know... Just focus on getting the work done that needs to be done and the rest will fall in place.

I had a horrible training cycle since my back injury, squats suffered, bench suffered But I decided that my dead lift was going to go well. The whole day I thought of nothing but tearing 500 off the floor... When I got to the gym that night, I made 505 my bitch...

Lifting heavy is more mental than people understand... You can beat yourself before you ever walk up to the bar or go to the gym. I'm slowly learning this and working hard to get mentally stronger for these heavy lifts.
